The Problems

The Chief Executive of a large utility recently  made the following statement:

"If all my Admin. and Financial Staff had just a little bit of technical knowledge, and if my Technical Staff had a better appreciation for the financials, we would double our productivity overnight!"

The knowledge problem is compounded by:

  • The very small number employed by the utility, in comparison to the large number of customers.
  • The small number of technical people in comparison to the total size of the utility.

The Challenge

Energy is the commodity that is bought and sold. Yet, it is invisible. You cannot place it on a table and touch it. Energy cannot be photographed. Hence, energy has to be explained at a conceptual level, to people who have difficulty in understanding anything technical or scientific. The task has been delegated to Trainers, on the basis of "Just do the best that you can!" The problem faced by the Trainer is knowing what to leave out. Not knowing what to leave out results in programs that are overwhelming and confusing.

The Solution

Packaged  Expertise

Combine a dedicated team of experts in Electrical Engineering, Teaching and Multimedia, with the power of computer generated animation and you have the solution!

The end product is years of creative work which is encapsulated onto a single Compact-Disk.

Unique Training Methodology

Any computer (with a sound card.) will allow learners to teach themselves by stepping through a sequence of "Micro-Lessons" at their own pace. (Working One-on-One with the Computer.)

Each "Micro-Lesson" comprises of an animation (or some other graphic image.) with a concise audio explanation.

These lessons provide small building blocks of knowledge in a planned sequence. This is the only methodology that has been proved to be consistently successful in conveying difficult concepts to people who would normally be considered unqualified.

Consistent Training Standards

Our material is designed to convey sufficient knowledge without gaps and without excesses, which can lead to confusion.

The computer consistently provides Content and Delivery of the highest standard.

Conversion to other languages will be considered.
